Monika & Keith Go To Prom!

It's weird to see a cousin I used to babysit for, all dressed up and going to her Junior Prom.  Such is life though, and I was happy to be able to take some photos for her.  

Having never gone to my own Prom, it was interesting to watch everything and take it all in.  It reminded me of my wedding day... fancy dresses, flowers, and beautiful hair and makeup, although there were about 100 more photographers here than were at my wedding.

I hope you had a great time Monika!  You certainly looked gorgeous!

Carter & Grant

I have been waiting for this day for a while... waiting for tax season to be over so that Carter & Grant could come over to get some photos taken!  I think Carter was as happy as I was, but he was also promised a reward of Ice Cream if he sat nice for photos... Boy was he ever good!

These brothers have taken over a huge chunk of my heart!  Every time I see them, I'm happy... they sure know how to put a smile on my face!

Senior Sessions

So I recently got asked if I do Senior Photos... you bet your bottom dollar I do!  Below are photos I took last year for my cousin Christian.  He's an up and coming bass player now attending college in Nashville, TN.  Great kid!  He brought one of his guitars along for his shoot (meaningful props are always welcome)!  I felt like I was shooting him for an Album Cover... Maybe one day I can!

Jadyn is One!

Let me tell you about this amazing 1 year old named Jadyn!  I am posting this in honor of her first birthday which in fact happens to be TODAY!!  Happy Birthday!  This girl is surrounded by so much love, it is heartwarming!  At one point during this session, we had Mom, Aunt Patti and Grandma and Grandpa around her trying to make her laugh, it was such a fun day!


I spent a portion of my Sunday afternoon on the Roden family farm taking these photos... surrounded by cows, tractors, and loud trucks with my camera in my hand, can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon!


Thanks for allowing me to share in celebrating Jadyn's first birthday!  I had a blast taking these photos!

Everett's 3 Month Session

Well, here we are again!  I must say, if I could meet a baby this adorable and happy every day of the week, I would be in seventh heaven!  I love this part of the job!  A few weeks ago I introduced you to Ella, and this week, please meet Ella's cousin Everett.  

It's been beautiful weather for taking photos, and this day was no exception!  My favorite part of what I do is the great people I get to meet.  Everett is a perfect example of this!  This boy was all smiles (for the majority of our time together).  His personality shines through in these photos!
